On August 21, USTH and Vietnamese German University (VGU) will have a meeting at USTH here in Hanoi. Senior management of both institutions have agreed to meet to discuss several topics including research funding, recruitment of lecturers, execution of the Special Financial Regime (SFR)… VGU, led by its President, Mr. Juergen Mallon is also interested in USTH’s experience in Vietnamisation process regarding administration, study programs and lecturers, as well as customizing French management into USTH context and financing. USTH believes this is also a good chance for the Vietnam France University to learn from its German partner so as to further strengthen its niche in the higher education market in Vietnam.
