August 16, 2011: Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan visited USTH

July 20, 2011: Institute of Information Technology, USTH and Indochina Telecom officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding toward establishing cooperation in scientific research and teaching affairs.

May 03, 2011: The ADB Board of Directors approved the loan of 190 million US dollars to establish University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH), with the aim of building a university of international standard which will support research, technical innovation and skills development of Vietnam.

November 12, 2009: The intergovernmental agreement establishing the foundation of the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) was signed between Valérie Pécresse, Minister of Higher Education and Research of France and Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam.
