On April 24, 2020, on behalf of USTH staff, lecturers and students, Prof. Etienne Saur- Principal Rector and Assoc. Prof. Dinh Thi Mai Thanh – Rector have handed over 10.000 face masks to the French Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Nicolas Warnery.
The face masks will be transferred to France in the upcoming days to be gifted to the members of USTH Consortium.
Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dinh Thi Mai Thanh thanked the USTH Consortium for supporting the university for the past 10 years. She also expressed her hope that the face masks will assist the members of the USTH Consortium to protect their health and pull through this tough time.
Mr. Nicolas Warnery expressed his thanks to the generosity of USTH staff, lecturers and students and promised to transfer these face mask to the USTH Consortium.
