With the aim to join forces with the government to prevent the spreading of Covid-19, from April 1st, 2020, the USTH’s campus will be locked down. The university will switch all administrative, research and teaching activities to online for 15 days.
On March 31st, 2020, the Prime Minister issued the Express Directive No. 16/Ct-TTg on the implementation of urgent measures to prevent and control COVID-19. According to the Directive, Vietnam will begin nationwide social distancing for 15 days starting from 12:00 AM, April 1st, 2020.
Responding to the call of the government, USTH will lock down the campus and suspend all the activities at the A21 Building from 9: 00 PM on March 31st, 2020.
The closure will not affect the activities of online teaching and learning as planned.

During 15 days of social distancing, all the staff, lecturers and students are requested to strictly follow the instruction of the Government and the Ministry of Health in the prevention and control of the epidemic.
