From 8 to 12 September 2025, the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) organised Integration Week 2025, a week-long orientation programme welcoming more than 1,000 first-year students of Gen 16 to the USTH community.
Designed to support students as they transition into university life, the programme offered a valuable opportunity for new students to familiarise themselves with the academic environment, connect with their peers, and begin their studies with confidence.
Throughout the week, students were introduced to key information and resources that will support their academic and personal development at USTH. The programme included sessions on university regulations and academic policies, civic and political education, human rights awareness, and fire safety.

Alongside the university-wide activities, each department organised welcome sessions to introduce students to their academic programmes. These sessions gave students the opportunity to meet lecturers and classmates, learn about their curriculum and study pathways, and explore the research and extracurricular opportunities available throughout their time at USTH.

The open and welcoming atmosphere helped students quickly settle into their new environment, build connections with their peers, and experience the strong sense of community that defines life at USTH.
More than an orientation programme, Integration Week reflects USTH’s commitment to supporting students from the very beginning of their university experience and helping them build a solid foundation for the years ahead.

While the week has come to an end, it also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Gen 16. As the newest members of the USTH community, these students are now ready to embrace new opportunities, pursue their academic ambitions, and contribute to the dynamic and international environment that makes USTH a distinctive place to learn and grow.
