USTH signs MOU with MQ ICT Solutions

On 4th December 2017 University of Science and Technology of Hanoi - USTH (also called Vietnam France University) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MQ Information and Communication Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company (MQ ICT Solutions).

The signing ceremony was attended on MQ ICT Solutions side by Mr. Luong Hong Quan - CEO and officers from Human Resources, Administrative units and on USTH side by Prof. Patrick Boiron - Rector, Assoc.Prof. Dinh Thi Mai Thanh - Vice Rector, Dr. Doan Nhan Quang - Coordinator of Information and Communication Technology Department (ICT), along with other officiers.

The MOU marks an official opening of collaborative opportunities between two organizations in the field of research and training. According to the MOU, MQ ICT Solutions will provide USTH students with internship opportunities at the company, employ USTH students to participate in MQ ICT Solutions' s projects as well as prioritise USTH graduates in recruitment procedure. Two organizations will collaborate in research or product development projects. Furthermore, MQ ICT Solutions will help USTH organizes or join events held by USTH with relevant fields.

MQ ICT Solutions serves some well-knowned clients, such as Toyota Hadong, Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam.

Bachelor of ICT at USTH prepares graduates for careers in the fields of Software Engineering and Computer Science. It focuses on applied research and emerging technologies. The ICT program equips students with the fundamental understanding of computing and system administration, then the professional knowledge of information systems, advance databases and eventually management of projects.

Master of ICT at USTH equips students with knowledge related to different streams within the growing ICT industry, including Web Engineering stream roles, networking stream rols, generic streams roles, for instance, IT specialist, IT project manager...

Cooperative activities between USTH and MQ ICT Solutions in the coming time will make it easy for USTH students to get an access into the real ICT world in Vietnam and see how their learnt knowledge can be applied to real life scenarios.
