USTH signs MoU with Claude Bernard University Lyon 1

A cooperation agreement was signed on Monday 9th October 2017 between University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) and Claude Bernard University Lyon 1, France for academic supports and collaborations. 

The agreement was signed by Prof. Patrick Boiron - Rector of USTH and Ms. Sabrina Baulard - International Cooperation officer in Department of International Relations at Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 in the presence of Mr. Eric Molay - Attaché of University and Scientific cooperation of the French Embassy in Hanoi.

It was also witnessed by Assoc. Prof. PhD. Ngo Duc Thanh - Vice Rector of USTH, Prof. Helene Courtois - Vice President for International Relations, Prof.  Anne Gioir Fendler - Vice President for International Student Mobility and Prof. Nadia Kabachi - International Relations Correspondent from Computer Science Department of Faculty of Science and Technology, Claude Bernard University Lyon 1. 
USTH and Claude Bernard University Lyon 1, France sign MoU
Claude Bernard University Lyon 1, located in Lyon, a city in east central France, provides teaching for 45.000 students per year in the field of science and technology, health and sport. The university jumped from no.90 to no.77 in top 100 ranking of the most innovative universities in the world. 

The agreement is expected to be beneficial to both partners in terms of academic and and research cooperation. According to the agreement, two institutions agreed to strengthen their bilateral ties through joint reserach activities, lecturer and student exchange, mutal sharing of data and academic research.

Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 now officially joins the list of French universities which co-accredit and issue equivalent degree for Master's degree in Energy and Master's degree in Biotechnology Pharmacology at USTH.

The cooperation agreement is the first step of a long-standing collaborative relationship between two universities which commit to work towards the development of Vietnam and worldwide science and technology.
