Under the signed agreement, the two sides will cooperate initially in students training and lecturers exchange. Accordingly, with a tradition of training in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering Technology, UTC will support USTH FabLab to expand its member network and seek funding for student events hosted by USTH FabLab such as Hackathon which is scheduled to take place in late 2018.

The two universities also agreed to conduct lecturer exchanges and joint research projects, particularly in the fields of Electronics, Energy and Materials Science.

Every year, USTH welcomes approximately 200 arrivals of lecturers who are scientists and researchers from prestigious French universities and research organizations in the USTH Consortium. USTH will send these lecturers to UTC to teach a number of courses, as well as participate in scientific seminars, workshops or conferences co-organized by UTC and USTH. In turn, UTC will also send its top lecturers to teach a number of courses at USTH. This is a great opportunity for students and lecturers to exchange and discuss new research directions.
