Graduation Ceremony of Class 2021

On February 26, 2022, the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony for the Bachelor and Master Students of Class 2021. 

Attending the ceremony, there were Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest - Principal Rector; Dr. Nguyen Hai Dang - Vice-Rector, directors of academic departments, lecturers, staff, and Bachelor and Master Students of Class 2021 together with their families and friends.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest congratulated the new graduates and praised their efforts during their study at USTH. They have successfully overcome the challenges and difficulties caused by the Covid-19 to achieve today’s success. Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest expressed his strong beliefs that they will actively contribute to the dramatic transformation of Vietnam in the future. 

Besides, he affirms that it is the dedication, enthusiasm, and responsibility of the lecturers and staff that play an important role in not only the development of USTH but also the accomplishment of the new graduates. On behalf of the Rector Board, Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest shared his joy and thanked the parents for trusting and choosing USTH as a nurturing environment for their children to pursue their studies and grow both academically and professionally.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Hai Dang - Vice-Rector announced the decision to grant Bachelor’s and Master’s diplomas for 180 students as recognition for their hard work and vigorous efforts. USTH also decided to honor and award certificates of merit to 58 graduates with very good and excellent academic performance. 

Closing the ceremony, on behalf of the fresh graduates, Vu Ngoc Huong Giang, a graduate of the Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy program, expressed her honor and gratitude for the whole journey at USTH, where they have built meaningful relationships that can last a lifetime. Huong Giang thanked the Rector Board for building USTH stronger day by day with vision and dedication. She also expressed her gratitude to all the lecturers and staff who have worked non-stop to create a great learning environment, which nurtures their passion and helps them to do their best to overcome difficulties and obstacles.

Finally, Huong Giang sent her best wishes to the graduates in their next endeavor: "The pursuit of happiness in life is not about the grades you have, the frivolous titles you achieve, or the money you make, it's about following your heart and spreading happiness to the people who have passed through your life. And I hope you can inspire joy in those around you, and don't forget to spark joy in yourself. Graduation isn't the end, it's the beginning of a new chapter in the inspirational book you authored.”
