We are pleased to announce the upcoming workshop “Shortening the Semiconductor Education-Industry Gap” to be held on October 18th, 2024, at USTH with the following details:
Time: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: Room 801, 8th floor, A21 building, 18 Hoang Quoc Viet, Cau Giay, Hanoi.
The event is co-hosted by the Department of Advanced Materials Science and Nanotechnology (AMSN) and the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association (KSIA) to celebrate USTH’s 15th anniversary and the inaugural intake of the Bachelor’s program in Semiconductor and IC Technology.
This event is expected to draw hundreds of participants, including distinguished guests, expert scientists from Vietnam and Korea, and students from the AMSN Department.
The workshop aims to bring together representatives from Korea and Vietnam’s semiconductor industry and academic institutions. The goal is to facilitate an exchange of ideas and experiences on emerging semiconductor technologies in education, research, and technology transfer. By addressing the gap between academic training and industry needs, the event seeks to provide valuable insights for bridging this divide and preparing students for the evolving demands of the semiconductor field.
Participants will benefit from two main sessions throughout the day. The first session will feature presentations from invited speakers who will share the latest semiconductor technology developments, focusing on industry applications and educational advancements. The second session will consist of a panel discussion, where experts from academia and industry in Vietnam and Korea will engage in a direct dialogue with the audience. This interactive session will allow participants to ask questions, share their perspectives, and explore collaborative opportunities. It is an excellent chance for students, young researchers, and industry professionals to gain valuable insights and foster connections that could benefit their future careers.
We invite all interested individuals, including researchers, academics, industry professionals, and students, to participate in this exciting event. Your involvement will contribute to meaningful discussions, foster collaborations, and help shape the future of semiconductor education and industry.
