On November 15, 2024, the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) signed a groundbreaking cooperation agreement with Vegastar Technology Co., Ltd. (VEGASTAR) and the Vega Space and Geospatial Academy (VSGA).
From USTH, the participants included Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest, Principal Rector; Dr. Nguyen Hoang Tung, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communication Technology; Dr. Tong Si Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Space and Applications; Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Nga, Head of Student Affairs; and Ms. Do Thi Thuy Trang, Deputy Head of International Cooperation.
From VEGASTAR and VSGA, the participants included Ms. Le Thanh Huong, Chairwoman of Vegastar Group; Ms. Do Thi Hang, Deputy Director of VSGA; Mr. Vu Quoc Binh, President of the Vietnam Telemedicine Technology Research and Development Center (VTRC); Ms. Pham Hong Hanh, Director of Partner Development; and Ms. Tran Thuong Huyen, Head of Strategic Marketing.
During the event, Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest and Ms. Le Thanh Huong shared their enthusiasm for this new milestone in the partnership between USTH and VEGASTAR. Both expressed confidence that the agreement would open up exciting new opportunities for collaboration in education and research, driving innovation and mutual growth.

With over 25 years of experience, the academy has built a solid reputation in education, research, and consultancy, playing a vital role in developing high-quality human resources and advancing national science and technology.
