In the business trip to France, the delegation of Vietnam Academy Science and Technology and USTH visited Dassault Systèmes, a French multinational software corporation developing software for 3D product design, simulation, manufacturing, and other 3D-related products.
The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Xavier Fouger, Senior Director of Global Educational Centers and Programs of Dassault Systèmes.
Dassault Systèmes is a multinational technology corporation headquartered in France, specializing in developing and providing 3D software and solutions, engineering design, and product lifecycle management. Founded in 1981, the company has become one of the world’s leading technology companies.
Dassault Systèmes has created many renowned products, including the 3DEXPERIENCE PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) platform, an integrated system for managing the entire product lifecycle. Many large enterprises in Vietnam and worldwide are adopting 3DEXPERIENCE in their production and management processes.
Since 2013, Dassault Systèmes and USTH have collaborated to implement the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in training, helping students gain practical knowledge and skills in the industrial field while encouraging creativity and experimentation with new solutions.
Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest – Principal Rector of USTH emphasized: “Digital Twin technology plays a crucial role in understanding and developing new technologies, making significant contributions to advancements in various fields, whether Mechanics or Biology. Therefore, USTH must equip students with the knowledge and skills to keep up with these changes.”
