Research projects

The Department of Advanced Materials Science and Nanotechnology focuses on 3 main research areas:

  • Advanced materials for electronics and energy
  • Advanced materials for environment, agriculture, and medicine
  • Nanophotonics for sensing devices

Two complementary activities to be established in collaboration with other departments and other Universities and research centers in Vietnam:

  • Nanomagnetism (with other universities in Vietnam and France)
  • Numerical simulations (to be discussed as transverse shared activities at USTH
