USTH Fab Lab co-operates with the American Center Hanoi to organise a 3D printer assembly training.
Time: Every morning on 16, 17, 22, 23 August 2017 from 8:30 to 12:00
Venue: American Center Hanoi, Floor 1, Rose Garden, 170 Ngoc Khanh, Hanoi

Training programme:
- Basic information about 3D technology: 3D printing technique, different types of printer as well as operating principle of each printer
- Assembly a complete 3D printer from small components and fix software to run the machine
- Produce a 3D sample print using Fussion 360 – a software used to design simple, visual sample prints
Note:
- The class prepares learning tools for a maximum of 30 students. In case the number of registers are over 30, the first 30 registers who commit to attend all four classes will be chosen. Students who registered successfully will receive email confirmation.
- In the case there are people who cannot attend all 4 classes or are not in the student list, the class prepares some extra seats.
3D printer is a familiar equipment in any Fab Lab which helps producing a real product from the design model. 3D printing technique refers to processes used to create a three-dimensional object in which layers of material are formed under computer control to create an object. Objects are produced using digital model data from a 3D model or another elctronic data.
USTH was born from the idea that everybody has creativity but they cannot have access to the university laboratories anytime. USTH Fab Lab is an enviroment which connects USTH students from different technology areas to share ideas and participate in projects after school. Despite establishing recently, USTH Fab Lab has engaged in many activities.
