Research interests
- My research focuses on the discovery, characterization, and application of beneficial microorganisms and natural bioactive compounds for human health.
- Probiotic research: Selection and functional characterization of Lactobacillus, Bacillus, and Saccharomyces strains with potential applications in supporting the management of non-communicable and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, hyperlipidemia, gastrointestinal diseases, and mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.
- Natural product research: Investigation and extraction of bioactive compounds from medicinal plants for their therapeutic potential in metabolic, respiratory, hepatic, gastrointestinal, and vestibular disorders.
- Product development: Design and formulation of scientifically validated dietary supplements aimed at improving metabolic health and supporting the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases.
