1. INTRODUCTION
The bachelor’s program in Engineering Physics and Electronics at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi is opened to compensate for the shortage of technical human resources with a solid foundation in physics not only in electronics, solar cells, and automotive electronics industries but also relating to service fields such as big data processing, intelligent devices in Vietnam.
The program aims to provide a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics and Electronics, with subjects that blend in a modern way between Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, and Informatics. Students can choose the majors that suit their abilities and the needs of the Vietnamese labor market.
The majors are designed in two main directions at the beginning: (i) Semiconductor and Electronics with smart electronics orientation, IC design as well as in the manufacturing of solar cells, LED, electronic industry, and (ii) optics and photonics to aim to the application of optical analyzers, light design …
Students will study theory combined with practice in modern labs and through field trips to companies. Besides, they will be equipped with soft skills such as presentation, teamwork, and critical thinking to actively expand their knowledge and adapt quickly to any international working environment.
