The Department of Information and Communication Technology is one of the key departments of USTH with the highest number of students. It offers training programs in English, focusing on the fields of Software Technology, Computer Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security, and Data Science at 3 levels: Bachelor – Master – Doctorate.

Our industry-engaged programs match the needs of human resources of the fast-growing ICT labor market and have a reputation for producing dynamic graduates with solid knowledge and professional working skills as well as high competence in English. Through modern teaching methods, students will study in a practice-based learning environment, be introduced to real-world experience, and be equipped with key transferable skills that make them both competitive and adaptable when they enter the workforce.
3 USTH’s degree Bachelor’s programs of the ICT Department have been accredited by the High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES), which means the credits and degrees are recognized as equivalent to those of universities in France and Europe.
The double degree Bachelor’s program in Information and Communication Technology allows students to transfer to France to complete their final year. Students will be granted two degrees upon graduation: one from USTH and one from a French partner university. The Master’s program in Information and Communication Technology has been co-developed and co-issuing degrees. Students have opportunities to get a 6-month paid internship at universities and research institutes in France.
Many alumni have successfully obtained prestigious scholarships for higher education or are currently working as managers at ICT various companies and being founders of their own startups.

RESEARCH
ICT Lab is a joint international ICT research laboratory established based on the collaboration between USTH and Vietnamese/ French partners. It has been supported by USTH, the Embassy of France in Vietnam, 13 universities and research institutes of the USTH Consortium and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). ICTLab gathers researchers from USTH, Institute of Information Technology (IOIT), French Institute of Research for Development and La Rochelle University, France working in research projects related to topics:
