University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) and University of Montpellier (France) have signed an agreement on the implementation of the double degree program in Biotechnology – Drug Discovery.
Starting from 2022, USTH has begun implementing double degree bachelor’s programs in collaboration with reputable universities in France, in addition to the 5 existing double master’s programs that were launched in 2010. The double degree bachelor’s programs include Biotechnology – Drug Discovery, Chemistry, and Information Technology – Communication.
This marks a significant milestone in USTH’s development, demonstrating our continuous commitment to elevating the quality of education and research in accordance with international standards. The introduction of double degree bachelor’s programs expands opportunities for USTH students to pursue studies at well-known French universities, while also facilitating the exchange of French professors and students to USTH, thereby creating an international learning environment at the University.
The recently signed agreement with University of Montpellier has increased the total number of partners for training and co-issuing bachelor’s degrees jointly with USTH to 6. These are all prestigious and well-established universities in France.
According to the agreement, USTH students will complete their initial two years at USTH and the third year at University of Montpellier. Conversely, University of Montpellier students will undertake the first 2 years at their home institution and the third year at USTH. Upon graduation, students will be granted two degrees, one from USTH and one from University of Montpellier.
Prior to this, USTH also signed a cooperation agreement with University of Sorbonne Paris Nord (USPN) to implement the double degree program in Biotechnology – Drug Development.
University of Montpellier is one of USTH’s key partners, having jointly implemented 4 double master’s programs, including Applied Environmental Science, Information Technology and Communication, Medical Biotechnology – Plant Biotechnology – Pharmacology, Space (Earth Observation-Astrophysics-Satellite Engineering).
