The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) department was founded in 2011 for both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees.
In 2021, nearly 45% of all USTH students fall under the 3 courses managed by this department (ICT, Cybersecurity, Data Science). The pressure exerted on the department by the teaching load is strong.
The team is co‐led by Prof. Antoine Doucet (ULR, La Rochelle) and Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Duc Dung (VAST, IOIT) and includes 8 lecturers – researchers with French doctorates: Tran Giang Son, Doan Nhat Quang, Nghiem Thi Phuong, Tran Hoang Tung, Giang Anh Tuan, Nguyen Hoang Ha, Le Huu Ton.
The ICT Department is a member of UMMISCO, the IRD’s international joint unit in computer science, and manages its research activities through its ICTLab laboratory.
