Dr. To Thi Mai Huong received her Doctorate Degree in Food Science at the University of Bourgogne, France in 2010. She is currently a Deputy Director of Direction of Research, Innovation and Technology Transfer in University of Science and Technology of Hanoi, an energetic lecturer of Life Science Department, and a very dynamic researcher of LMI Rice joint laboratory in USTH.
Dr. Huong’s research mainly focuses on factors affecting the growth and development of Vietnamese rice. She is the principal investigator of many related projects funded by the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED), the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and the Vingroup Innovation Foundation (VinIF).
Dr. Huong has been the main author of many publications published in prestigious journals such as Applied Environmental Microbiology, Rice, Journal of Plant Physiology, and Plant Journal.
