The Department of Medicine and Pharmacy was established in 2026, building upon the Pharmacy Education Program that the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) first launched in 2023. The establishment of the department marks a new stage in the University’s development, with a strategic focus on strengthening education, research, and collaboration in the fields of medicine and pharmacy.
Grounded in science and technology, the department is committed to promoting practice-oriented education, innovation, and international integration while developing high-quality academic and research activities.
Currently, the department offers the following undergraduate program:
- Pharmacy (Program Code: 7720201)
The Pharmacy program is designed around two major areas of specialization:
- Clinical Pharmacy
- Pharmaceutical Industry
Building on this foundation, the department aims to gradually expand its academic portfolio by developing new programs in medicine and pharmacy that align with the University’s strengths and respond to evolving societal needs. At the same time, the department is laying the groundwork for the future development of a medical education program, once all required conditions and regulatory standards have been fully met.
