On 19 April 2026, in commemoration of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (30 April 1975 – 30 April 2026), the Youth Union Unit of the Foreign Language Centre at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) organised an educational visit to the Vietnam Military History Museum.
The activity brought together Vietnamese and international students, offering them an opportunity to learn more about Vietnam’s modern history and gain a deeper understanding of the historical events that have shaped the country’s development.
During the visit, students explored key milestones in Vietnam’s journey towards national reunification, including the Ho Chi Minh Campaign and the events leading to 30 April 1975. Through a diverse collection of artefacts, photographs, and archival materials, participants were introduced to important moments in the nation’s history and the stories behind them.

Beyond the historical perspective, the activity encouraged students to engage in meaningful cultural exchange and to reflect on the values of peace, resilience, and solidarity that continue to resonate today.
As an international university, USTH is committed to providing learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom. By bringing together Vietnamese and international students in activities that explore Vietnam’s history, culture, and heritage, USTH seeks to foster intercultural understanding and create opportunities for students to learn from one another.

The visit formed part of USTH’s ongoing efforts to offer a well-rounded educational experience, connecting academic learning with cultural awareness and global engagement.
