Energy efficiency of hybrid automobile
Hybrid cars have become increasingly popular because they consume less gasoline, especially when traveling in traffic congestion. However, this outstanding advantage of hybrid automobiles has not been well researched. Fuel consumption rate is greatly dependent on driving conditions, which are locally fluctuating and unstable following days, periods, and road categories. Therefore, driving simulators used for vehicle fuel estimation using detailed models such as CarSim and Fastsim should be applied to the study of vehicle energy efficiency. Eventually, the result of energy usage from dynamic simulators will be compared with data from probe information and mobile fuel consumption apparatus to identify the accuracy of the simulation.
