On 18 July 2025, the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) successfully organised the French–Vietnamese Cultural Festival 2025, bringing together students, lecturers, staff, and visitors for a day of cultural exchange and community engagement.
As one of USTH’s annual student activities, the festival provided an opportunity for participants to discover and celebrate the richness of French and Vietnamese cultures through a wide range of interactive experiences.
Throughout the event, attendees explored student-led booths featuring traditional food, music, games, and creative activities inspired by the cultural heritage of both countries. The festival also showcased the creativity and active participation of USTH students, who played a central role in designing and organising the activities.

The event created a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging participants to interact, share experiences, and learn more about the cultural diversity that characterises the USTH community. Specially designed photo areas, inspired by the theme of travel and exploration, further contributed to the festive spirit and offered memorable experiences for attendees.
More than a cultural celebration, the festival served as a platform to strengthen connections between Vietnamese and international students, promote mutual understanding, and foster a spirit of openness, respect, and friendship.

As a university established through the strategic partnership between Vietnam and France, USTH continues to place strong emphasis on intercultural learning and community engagement beyond the classroom. The French–Vietnamese Cultural Festival is one of the university’s signature events that reflects its international identity and its commitment to building a diverse, inclusive, and globally minded campus environment.

The event once again highlighted the vibrant student life at USTH and the important role of extracurricular activities in enriching students’ university experience while strengthening the bonds that unite the USTH community.
