On June 16, USTH held the Closing Ceremony for incoming double degree students, marking the end of a meaningful year of study, research, and cultural experiences in Vietnam. This academic year also marked the first time USTH welcomed students from four prestigious French partner universities (University of Paris East Creteil – UPEC, La Rochelle University, University of Lille, University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne) to pursue their studies and earn a USTH degree.
During the ceremony, the University celebrated the achievements of the students and their successful completion of an enriching academic year at USTH. The ceremony was also an occasion for department members and students to look back on the memorable moments, learning and research experiences, and cultural discoveries that enriched their time in Vietnam.
The international students shared that studying at USTH had encouraged them to step outside their comfort zones, gain valuable knowledge and new skills, and broaden their perspectives. They also expressed their pride in soon becoming part of the USTH alumni community.
The ceremony further provided an opportunity for the University to gather feedback and suggestions from the students, helping enhance academic quality and improve support services for future cohorts of international students at USTH.
The growing number of French students choosing USTH as a destination for studying and for participating in exchange/internship programs reflects the University’s ongoing commitment in strengthening and expanding its strategic partnership with France. In the upcoming academic year, USTH expects to welcome 13 French students to its double degree programs, further demonstrating the confidence of its partners in the quality of training and the international learning environment at USTH.
While their journey at USTH is drawing to the end, these international students will always remain a valued part of the USTH community. We wish them continued success in their future endeavors and hope they will carry with them lasting memories of their time at USTH.
