Venue: 8th floor Hall, Building A21, University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH), Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, 18 Hoang Quoc Viet, HanoiAt the ceremony, Acad. Prof. Chau Van Minh, President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (governing body of USTH) will announce and award the decisions on appointing USTH’s important management positions: Prof. Phan Ngoc Minh, Vice-president of VAST as the Chairman of the University Council of USTH, Prof. Etienne Saur as Principal Rector of USTH, and Assoc. Prof. Dinh Thi Mai Thanh as Rector of USTH.
The appointment of experienced, talented and enthusiastic Vietnamese and French leaders to strategic management positions in the university shows USTH’s determination to become an international standard public university of excellence, in accordance with the Intergovernmental Agreement between Vietnam and France for the period from 2019 to 2023, signed in November 2018. It also marks a new development period for USTH with new international collaboration opportunities in research and training.
