University of Science and Technology of Hanoi – USTH (also called Vietnam France University) is proud to announce the organization of a seminar, namely, “Development of viable battery technologies for electric car” with Dr. Truong Quang Duc as speaker.

Dr. Truong Quang Duc received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Vietnam National University, his Master’s degree in Chemistry from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan and his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Tohoku University, Japan. Since 2013, he joined Tohoku University as JSPS postdoctoral fellow and appointed as Assistant Professor in 2017. He is an active researcher with several significant contributions to the field of chemistry of nanomaterials, functional nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage. He has published several papers in well-known journals, such as Chemistry of Materials, Scientific Reports, etc.
He has developed a fruitful collaboration with Dr. Tran Dinh Phong’s group at USTH. Dr. Truong Quang Duc has been appointed by USTH as a member of the international committee in charge of preparing a new training program in Chemistry at USTH.
Along with presenting on his current research activities at Tohoku University, at the seminar, Dr Truong Quang Duc will shares his experiences in designing, conducting research projects, writing research papers as well as some tips for scholarship hunting that could be useful for junior researchers and students.
