Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been emerging as an interdisciplinary research area that helps boost the effectiveness or even change the way in production and services. This talk shares the basic definition of AI and common approaches to solve its main research questions. By reviewing traditional problems and current hot topics, this talk also provides some aspects that AI practitioners should pay more attention to in this very active R&D area.
