Functions
To advise and assist the Rectors in managing and organizing the implementation of general and prerequisite training programs at the undergraduate and master’s levels.
Tasks
1. Manage and implement the training
a) To lead and coordinate with the relevant units in the University to build timetables, assign and invite lecturers to implement the general training programs at various levels assigned by the University.
b) To lead and coordinate with the academic departments and Foreign Language Centre to deploy, revise and develop the general training programs including the English preparatory programs Bo)
c) To comply with the process, test methods, assessment process, learning results and training for students according to the University’s regulations;
d) To coordinate with the relevant units in the University to organize, set up the teams to participate in science and technology competitions for students.
e) To coordinate with the relevant departments in carrying out measures to enhance the quality of teaching, learning, and testing.
2. Human Resource Management
a) To manage lecturers, researchers, employees and students of the Department;
b) To lead and coordinate with the academic departments to develop the Department’s staff development plan to ensure teaching responsibilities and support the University’s research workforce development.
c) To build up the network of domestic and foreign visiting lecturers;
d) To lead and coordinate with the relevant units to carry out the procedures for inviting lecturers and experts outside the University to participate in teaching and guiding practices;
e) To draft and submit the visiting lecturer contracts, monitor and check the timesheet for visiting lecturers.
3. To manage the practice equipment assigned by the University
