On October 29th, 2016, from 16:00 to 22:00, University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) will present for the first time “Flea market and USTH Talent Show”. This event will be hold at Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, 18 Hoang Quoc Viet Str., Cau Giay Dist., Hanoi.
As agreed by the Rectorate Board of University of Science and Technology of Hanoi, the University will host for the first time “Flea market and USTH Talent show” as the extra curriculum activity and also a platform to mainly encourage USTH students to show how talented they are and to network with other entrepreneurs from other universities, high schools in Hanoi.
The event is expected to last in 6 hours on October 29th, 2016 from 4:00 pm at Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
The first event of flea market will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with the participation of 10 sale booths of variety items such as food, clothing, craft and etc. There is no registration fee for the sale booths and booth owner is responsible for booth design and exhibition. The organizer welcomes all registration for sale booths at the flea market. Booth owners will take turn to lucky draw to select the sale booths position. The layout of the sale booth and stage will be sent particularly to booth owners after they register successfully with the organizers. The deadline for the booth registration is OCTOBER 15th, 2016.
The second event is USTH Talent show. There will be 10 performances of USTH students and each performance will be marked by the show’s judges. To participate in the show, individuals/groups/teams should submit to the organizer a short video clip (3-5 minutes) introducing about themselves and their talents to the organizer no later than OCTOBER 15th, 2016. The 10 clips will be posted on the USTH website for the online vote. The result of the talent show will be based on both the online vote and the score given by the judges at the final show on OCTOBER 29th, 2016.

The organizer is calling for applications for the “Flea market” from USTH students and staff as well as from other unversities’students and vendors outside USTH. The application form can be downloaded here.
We are also looking for a variety of talent from USTH students to the USTH Talent show. Individuals/groups/teams who wish to join the show can download the application form here. The eligible application for talent show should include filled application form and short video clip.
All applications should be submitted to the organizer by OCTOBER 15th, 2016.
