Research interests 

Các nghiên cứu tập trung vào phát triển các vi hệ cảm biến điện hóa định hướng ứng dụng trong lĩnh vực an toàn thực phẩm, môi trường, y dược, và nông nghiệp chính xác. Các cảm biến này có thể được tích hợp với các hệ vi lưu (cho phép thao tác chính xác ở thể tích nhỏ cỡ nL) nhằm hướng tới các hệ phân tích nhanh, tại chỗ và tự động. Các nhận biết sinh học trên cơ sở các phản ứng hóa sinh, miễn dịch, hay khuếch đại phân tử được lựa chọn để tăng cường tính lọc lựa của các cảm biến này. Các vật liệu tiên tiến như nano kim loại, nano các bon, polime dẫn, khung cơ kim (MOF) được đưa lên bề mặt các cảm biến nhằm cải thiện độ nhạy của các cảm biến. Trong định hướng nghiên cứu sắp tới, chúng tôi hướng đến việc đưa thêm các cấu tử với các chức năng khác nhau như vi lò phản ứng, vi nam châm… lên các hệ phân tích trên. Những hệ phân tích này có tiềm năng ứng dụng cao trong kiểm soát chất lượng an toàn thực phẩm, môi trường nước trên diện rộng; và hướng tới y tế cá thể trong tương lai gần.
