Functions
To advise and assist the Rectors in managing and operating admissions activities for all training levels, handling communications, and developing and administering the University’s brand.
Tasks
1. Admissions activities
a) Responsible for formulating and preparing all official documents pertaining to admissions activities of the USTH;
b) Responsible for formulating the admissions strategy for medium-term and annual admissions plan; implementing the annual plan approved by the Rectors;
c) Serving as the Standing Unit of the Admissions Committee, which is established annually according to the Rector’s decision;
d) Responsible for counselling activities;
e) Responsible for receiving the admissions dossiers and managing all admissions document, announcing the list of admitted students;
f) Responsible for organizing early career counselling and orientation for high school students;
g) Responsible for managing, operating, maintaining, and developing the Online Admissions Systems.
2. Communication activities
a) Responsible for developing a phased communication strategy that aligns with the university’s development goals;
b) Responsible for formulating, guilding and mornitoring the implementation of all official documents pertaining to communication policies;
c) Responsible for developing content and managing the university’s communication channels.
d) Responsible for building and strengthening strategic partnerships with media organizations, educational institutions, and regulatory bodies.
3. Brand management activities
a) Responsible for developing and managing the university’s brand identity;
b) Responsible for creating a phased brand development strategy that aligns with the university’s goals;
c) Responsible for organizing brand promotion events and related activities to enhance the university’s brand value;
d) To coordinate in completing the necessary documentation to register the university’s brand with relevant authorities;
e) Responsible for formulating and monitoring all official documents and guidelines pertaining to media communication regulations and social media code of conduct.
f) To design the Self-Evaluation Report for accreditation purposes.
4. To perform other duties as assigned by the Rectors.
