The University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) was created in 2009 within the framework of the Inter-Governmental Agreement between Vietnam and France which aimed to establish and develop a N.M.U. (New Model University) of Vietnam, targeting international standards through a commitment to research and innovation.
In its initial 13 years, USTH has trained over 4500 alumni, at Bachelor, Master and PhD levels. All training programs are in English. The development of USTH greatly benefitted from the engagement of a consortium of 30 French universities, engineering schools and research institutions, and of the constant support from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Embassy in Hanoi.
For the 2022-2023, the French Embassy has awarded USTH a grant amounting 40,000€ to fund a scheme for international mobilities for Lecturers, Students and administrative officers, as described below.

- Proposals should reach DRITT before: 5:00pm on 13 February 2023
- Selection results will be communicated on : 20 February 2023
- All missions should start before: 01 July 2023
