In the context of the global energy transition gaining strong momentum, hydrogen power is increasingly recognized as a strategic solution and a key driver of innovation toward sustainable development and carbon emission reduction. To foster academic exchange and international collaboration in this field, the Hydrogen Horizons: Advancing Vietnam–France Energy Collaboration will be held on the morning of March 31, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH).
The event is jointly organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV), USTH and the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), with the participation of scientists, lecturers, experts, entrepreneurs, and representatives from organizations within the hydrogen ecosystem of both Vietnam and France.
The workshop will focus on key topics such as:
- Global and regional overview of hydrogen
- Vietnam’s hydrogen roadmap
- The French hydrogen ecosystem: industrial solutions and feedback/experience (manufacturing industry and mobility)
- Perspectives on research, innovation, and investment
In addition, the event will provide a platform for in-depth discussions, enabling participants to share practical experiences and explore opportunities for collaboration in research, innovation, and investment.
Beyond being an academic forum, the workshop also serves as a bridge connecting stakeholders, contributing to the development of an effective cooperation network between Vietnam and France in the field of clean energy. It also offers an opportunity for USTH to further affirm its role as a leading institution in education and research in advanced science and technology.
With thorough preparation and the participation of reputable partners, the Hydrogen Horizons: Advancing Vietnam–France Energy Collaboration is expected to be a significant event, fostering dialogue, knowledge exchange, and opening up new opportunities for collaboration in the hydrogen sector – a foundation for a sustainable energy future.
