The Foreign Languages Center (FLC) under the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi was established on June 1, 2019 pursuant to the Decision No. 305/QD-ĐHKHCN dated May 25, 2019.
Mainly responsible for building, managing and organizing the implementation of foreign language training (English and French) for Bachelor’s and Master’s students of the University, FLC has provided training in foreign languages for many classes, ensuring that USTH’s students achieve the final learning outcomes for their foreign language competency.
In addition, FLC also organizes foreign language after-school classes for students and other public in need.
FLC currently has two Section which are the French Section and English Section. The teaching staff includes full-time lecturers and visiting lecturers.
The English Section has 100% of its English Lecturers having extensive training in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages). FLC also cooperates with a team of visiting English lecturers currently teaching English at Universities in Hanoi.
The French Section has a team of full-time and visiting Vietnamese and native lecturers who are experienced in teaching French.
