Bachelor in Engineering Physics and Electronics
The bachelor program in Engineering Physics and Electronics at University of Science and Technology of Hanoi is opened to compensate for the shortage of technical human resources with a solid foundation in physics not only in electronics, solar cells and automotive electronics industries, but also relating to service field such as big data processing, smart devices in Vietnam.
The program aims to provide a bachelor degree in Engineering Physics and Electronics, with subjects that blend in a modern way between Mathematics, Physics, Electronics and Informatics. Students will be able to choose the majors that suit their abilities and suit the needs of the Vietnamese labor market.
The majors are designed to two main directions at the beginning: (i) Semi-conductor and Electronics with smart electronics orientation, IC design as well as in the manufacturing of solar cells, LED, electronic industry, and (ii) optics and photonics to aim to the application of optical analyzers, light design…
Students will study theory combining with practice in modern labs and through field trips to companies. Besides, they will be equipped with soft skills such as presentation, team work, critical thinking to actively expand their knowledge and adapt quickly to any international working environment.
The Bachelor Program in Engineering Physics and Electronics includes 180 ECTS during 3 years:
- The foundation year consists of general subjects for all first-year students (60 ECTS)
- The second and third years for specialization
